Brownish gray with dark worm-like markings on sides. Often confused
with Black Grouper, a Gag's markings are lighter in hue and it's fins
are bluish. Most Gags begin life as females and change sexes to males
as they grow older.
Size: Most Gags that are caught will weigh under 10 pounds, although
some will grow to 50 pounds or more.
